Are you fed up with being welcomed to your own country?
This insulting 'Welcome to Country' ceremony that we have to painfully endure wherever we go, is the application of the cultural Marxist' Critical Race Theory' stemming from the work of Marxists of the Frankfurt School of Germany.
Marxist Woke (authoritarian political correctness) was smashed in the 2024 US Presidential elections by the silent majority flexing its muscle at the ballot box.
With the defeat of the racially divisive 'Voice to Parliament' on 14 October 2023, it is time Australia was further cleansed of wokism by ridding itself of the insulting and divisive 'Welcome to Country'.
Thankfully, more people, some Aboriginal, are publicly speaking up and expressing their disapproval of the racially dividing 'Welcome to Country'.
It was encouraging to see the NRL club Melbourne Storm abandon insulting and divisive politics and reduce its use of the Welcome to Country ceremonies before games.
The Storm will not stop helping Aborigines; it will just be doing it in a way that does not undermine our country. "The club will continue to support First Nations community groups and organisations, as it has done for many years, delivering programs that promote positive health, welfare and education outcomes" (Storm Statement). Let us hope ALL sporting clubs across the country follow this lead and remove Marxist politics from sports.
The Juru People of North Queensland have recently voted to ban Welcome to Country ceremonies on their lands. They find them embarrassing and are concerned about how they have become commercialised.
Cultural Marxism is sinister and has a destructive political agenda. It cares nothing for the people it uses as tools to cause division, with the planned objective of destroying Western countries from within.
It is naive to think those driving the 'Welcome to Country’ ceremonies care about the welfare of the Aboriginal people. I expect that they care about Aborigines as much as they care about women being beaten up in female sports by delusional and/or cheating males who think they are women. The silence of the Feminist Marxist Movement, standing up for women in sports, is evidence of the absolute lack of care for identified Marxist oppressed groups once their political usefulness is over.
Senator Alex Antic alludes to this in his video 'We don't need to be welcomed to our own country', stating, "The welcome to country is nothing more than something wealthy city people love to do to make themselves feel good. All Australians have the right to call this country home but the activists and bureaucratic classes want division as it perpetuates the victimhood mindset which they use to manipulate people".
The advocates of cultural Marxism are traitors to our country or, at best, naive "useful idiots" ignorant that they are supporting an agenda to destroy our democratic nation to replace it with a fantasy communist utopia. Anyone who understands Karl Marx's satanic theology knows that Marxism results in death. One hundred plus million deaths since only 1917 is testimony to its evil and destruction.
Those with some understanding of Aboriginal affairs know that primarily, improved educational opportunities, supporting the family unit (i.e. two-parent families with positive male role models), breaking the dependency on welfare and ridding Aboriginal people of a crippling victimhood mentality is what is needed. Bulldust words at a ceremony achieve nothing except to promote the Marxist objective of division by implying that the country belongs to some more than others.

It is questionable that today's Aborigines are the first peoples. Alfred Cort Haddon, revered today as the 'founding father' of British anthropology, wrote in 1909 in his book 'The Races of Man' how the original aborigines were either "driven off, exterminated or even partially assimilated".

The flawed belief Australia was founded on an act of fundamental injustice, for which we must forever atone, is also no grounds for a ‘Welcome to Country’ ceremony. Chastising generations of Australians who have done nothing to hurt the Aboriginal people (Aborigines who themselves have not personally suffered from colonisation) is divisive and attempts to undermine feelings of nationalism for this beautiful country that we can be proud of.
It is time for the divisive and insulting ‘Welcome to Country’ to be scrapped or, at best, replaced with an inclusive ‘Acknowledgement of the Australian Nation’, acknowledging the major groups who have contributed to making this great nation.

As a Christian, I don't need a smoking ceremony to ward off bad spirits.
I have my faith in Jesus Christ to protect me.
However, I pay my respects to those who laid the foundations of this great country.

In the last 10 years, the Aboriginal culture has gone from 10,000 to 20,000, to 40,000 to 65,000 to 70,000 years old with the most recent I have heard being 250,000 years old. Plus the Aboriginal industry conveniently ignore the genocide they perpetrated on the people they found when they arrived here.
